Northumbria Forestry is a small scale woodland management & timber merchant supplying individuals & companies with the products & services they need. Working with nature to create the finest timber products since 2008, Nathalie Petronelli-Stone, is also well known for the self building of Northumberland's first off-grid residential straw bale house. She also takes the lead in her own hugely successful series "Off The Grid" which highlights her & her teams work as well as her life building & living off grid in Northumberland. Got wood?

I tend to work directly with owners but am happy to work with other contractors, agents etc. Unlike many woodland management or forestry businesses I am a hand cutter myself, & like nothing more than to get my hands dirty & understand first hand what it's like to work sites, I am very much not office based.

I offer everything from general advice on the 1 out of control tree in your garden to a many hectare forest. Full appraisals, grant application, tree surgery, woodland management plans, thinning, final fell, hand cutting, harvesting, forwarding, brash & Timber Chipping, infrastructure, timber haulage & sales. I am not a one woman band, with me comes many years of experience from some of the best in the business, if you're reading this you probably already know that as most of my work comes through word of mouth.
